The Moynihan Brothers are members of the original Dave Moynihan Showband. They have played the length and breadth of Ireland with their father Dave Moynihan and their mother over the years. 

 They have also played in Wales, Scotland and England in ballrooms such as The Galteemore in London, National Kilburn and The Gresham Holloway Road, as members of The Dave Moynihan Big Band, fronted by the late great Dave Moynihan (R.I.P.)

The band now consists of 2 brothers, featuring Dave Jnr. on keyboards and vocals, whilst Arthur plays lead guitar and doubles up on trumpet, keyboards and vocals. These two brothers are very talented and experienced musicians and they have a top class professional show. Dave and Arthur continue to go from strength to strength on the nationwide dance circuit, and another major part of the bands' business is on the Wedding Circuit. Their music consists of Country, Big Band, Showband, Rock and Roll, right up to modern day music. The sound and show that this band has is unbelievable for two musicians, with all music being played live. It has been, and still is being said, that they have a very unique sound, and something different to offer. Recently, the two brothers celebrated 40 years in the music business at a gala celebratory event held in The Ashdown Park Hotel, Gorey, in their native Co. Wexford, an event which was attended by hundreds of supporters from all over Ireland and the UK. At the moment, the band is covering all the big venues in the country such as The Gleneagle Hotel in Killarney, Co Kerry, Jury's in Ballsbridge, Co Dublin, The Hazeltree in Mallow, Co Cork but to name a few. They even travel as far a field as Bundoran, in County Donegal, as well as all the major dance venues throughout Ireland. The band also continues to play at the world renowned Lisdoonvarna matchmaking festival (at the famous Hydro Hotel).

 As was the case many years ago in the Showbands era, the band continues to perform in the UK many times throughout the calendar year. The lads also travel all over the world with the well-known family operated business ENJOY TRAVEL. No matter where this band play, they get many repeat bookings and have a strong following of supporters who travel to dance to their music. They have a non-stop lively show which is sure to have people of all ages, both young and old, dancing.
